Open Trade Gate Sweden is a one-stop information centre set up by the Swedish Government as a public service to exporters from developing countries. The service is free of charge.
The overall goal of Open Trade Gate Sweden is to facilitate trade and increase exports from developing countries to Sweden. The scope of its activities extends to all questions concerning the rules and requirements for exporting from a developing country to Sweden and the European Union.
Open Trade Gate Sweden was officially inaugurated in March 2005 and forms part of the National Board of Trade, Sweden’s governmental agency for international trade and trade policy. The secretariat is located in Stockholm.
