Development cooperation
The Swedish Government has revised its Results strategy for Sweden's reform cooperation with Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans and Turkey, and decided to reopen the possibility for bilateral development cooperation with North Macedonia since December 2017.
The strategy provides for support to both bilateral and regional initiatives in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia and North Macedonia, and it is valid for the period 2014-2020.
The responsible Agency for Strategy implementation is the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency – Sida.
